OTCQB quotation expands North American investor access as Fulcrum advances its Ontario mine waste recovery platform
Fulcrum Metals plc (AIM: FMET), a company pioneering the use of innovative cyanide-free technologies developed by Extrakt Process Solutions to recover precious and critical metals from mine waste and support site regeneration, is pleased to announce that its ordinary shares of 1 pence each (“Ordinary Shares”) have been approved for trading on the OTCQB Market (“OTCQB”) in the United States of America and will commence cross-trading at the OTCQB market open today under the ticker symbol “FULMF”. The Company’s Ordinary Shares will continue to trade on AIM under the ticker “FMET”, with no new Ordinary Shares being issued in connection with the OTCQB quotation.
Highlights
• Fulcrum’s Ordinary Shares approved to trade on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker “FULMF”, providing greater accessibility for US investors
• OTCQB quotation complements Fulcrum’s existing AIM quotation, with the Company continuing to trade in London under “FMET”
• Expanded US market presence aligns with Fulcrum’s growing North American operational footprint and Ontario-based mine waste recovery strategy
• Fulcrum is advancing the Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite projects in the Kirkland Lake gold camp with its exclusive access to Extrakt’s cyanide-free processing technology across the Kirkland Lake and Timmins camps
• Recently secured £6 million funding package provides significant funding to advance the planned pilot processing programme
The OTCQB Market, recognised by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission as an established public market, serves as a leading platform for both domestic and international growth-stage companies.
Ryan Mee, Chief Executive Officer of Fulcrum, commented: “Commencing trading on the OTCQB is an important step in expanding Fulcrum’s presence in North America and making our shares more accessible to US investors. With our principal mine waste projects located in Ontario, we believe there is a natural opportunity to build a significantly broader North American shareholder audience alongside our established UK investor base.
“Our strategy is differentiated: we are seeking to recover gold and critical and technology metals from historic mine waste using innovative cyanide-free processing technology, while simultaneously addressing the environmental legacy associated with these sites. Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite, located in the historic Kirkland Lake gold camp, provide the foundation from which we intend to demonstrate and ultimately scale this model.
“Importantly, following our recently secured £6 million funding package, we are well positioned to advance the pilot processing plant and demonstrate the scalability and commercial potential of the technology at Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite. The pilot plant also has the potential to provide a platform for evaluating mine waste material from additional projects as we look to scale the opportunity.
“North American investors are increasingly focused on securing domestic supplies of critical minerals, improving the environmental performance of mining and extracting value from previously overlooked resources. Fulcrum sits at the intersection of those themes.
“The OTCQB quotation therefore represents more than simply an additional trading platform. It gives us an opportunity to introduce Fulcrum to a larger North American investor audience as we advance our Ontario projects, commission our pilot processing capability and work towards demonstrating a scalable approach to recovering value from legacy mine waste.”
The OTCQB quotation is intended to broaden Fulcrum’s accessibility to US investors and increase the Company’s visibility within the North American investment community. It will enable US investors to trade Fulcrum’s Ordinary Shares in US dollars during US market hours through participating US broker-dealers, while the Company retains its primary AIM quotation.
The Board believes the OTCQB quotation is particularly relevant to Fulcrum given the Company’s growing operational footprint in Ontario, Canada, its focus on recovering gold and critical and technology metals from legacy mine waste and increasing North American interest in domestic critical mineral supply chains and innovative approaches to mine waste remediation.

About Fulcrum Metals PLC
Fulcrum Metals PLC (AIM: FMET) is an AIM listed technology led natural resources company focused on recovery of precious metals from mine tailings (previously milled and processed ore) in Canada using environmentally friendly leaching technology developed by Extrakt Process Solutions LLC and its associates (together “Extrakt”). The Company’s current projects are the tailing sites of the former Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite gold mines, located in the Kirkland Lake region of Ontario. In addition, the Company has interests in a portfolio of highly prospective mineral exploration and development projects in both Ontario and Saskatchewan Canada.
Fulcrum has an agreement for exclusivity rights in respect of any licensed use of Extrakt’s proven cyanide free technology on legacy gold mine waste sites over the mining districts of Timmins and Kirkland Lake. These are two of Canada’s biggest gold camps with a historical production above 110Moz over the past 100 years, leaving more than 70 documented legacy mine waste sites.
Fulcrum is now focused on the development of its Teck-Hughes and Sylvanite projects towards production using Extrakt’s technology and positioned to scale the concept across two of Canada’s historically most productive gold regions. Fulcrum believes this represents a substantial, long-term opportunity to unlock significant and largely untapped value from legacy mine waste.
