Syenite Lake​

58 mining claim cells (~11.6sq km) in the Schreiber – Hemlo greenstone belt.

Geology & Mineralisation

The Syenite Lake property lies within the Schreiber greenstone belt and ties into Transition Metals Maude Lake property to the West and Panther Metals Big Bear project to the SW.

The Syenite property Contains the NE extension of the Ansell Lake copper zone associated with quartz porphyry dykes on the Transition Metals claim block. The copper zone is marked by a linear magnetic anomaly which continues across the property a further km in distance. Mapping in the area of the Ansell Lake Copper-Silver Occurrence has defined disseminated to semi-massive sulphide mineralisation indicating a significant potential for possible VMS-style copper mineralisation, with accompanying gold and silver. There is an intrusive/metasedimentary boundary running N-NE which represents a possible shear zone target with reported banded iron formation (marked by magnetic anomalies) which hosts the Little Bear gold discovery on Panther Metals ground a short distance to the SW.
